Hilarious: "Woke" bar in Portland trying to cater to the mob forced to shut down in their first week

Keep Portland Weird is the slogan of parts of this crazy as hell city that is the polar opposite of where I live. I'm sure it isn't as bad as the media makes it out to be because nothing ever is but that place just looks totally nuts to me and if I did live there, I would be doing anything I could to get out of there as soon as I could. Between the constant threat of political violence, the need to "bend the knee" to all these different groups that want attention, and what appears to be a zero response policy on the part of the city itself, Portland seems to be an absolute nightmare for sane people.

In lieu of anyone or anything conservative to attack it seems the people of this fair city are turning on their own and I would be lying if I didn't say that this makes me happy.

The place was called Doc Marie's and it proudly touted the fact that it was a lesbian bar that was going to be inclusive to all walks of life and people of all types and these days, particularly in crazy-land, this is a lot of types of people. I don't know much about the place other than the fact that when it first opened it was welcomed by huge crowds of people and it seemed to be doing very well for itself. Good work! I say.

Don't get the wrong idea here: I have absolutely zero problem with lesbian bars, straight bars, gay bars, transgender bars, alien-themed bars, whatever-the-fuck-you-want bars. I say do your thing and if there are people out there that don't like the idea, here is a simple solution: Don't go there.

This seems like a win/win for Portland and the owners of Doc Marie's, right? Well hold your horses there kiddo because it seems as though what I have said about the "woke mob" is true yet again. They aren't looking for "their own place" or to even be accommodated the same as everyone else, they want something that is impossible to deliver, they want constant attention. This is precisely what the employees there did after less than a week of being open.

It took almost zero time for a social media group started that was a union of sorts of the people that are employed at Doc Marie's and within a few days, lo' and behold, they had a problem with their work environment and the only solution was for the owner to turn over their property and resign. What owner wouldn't want to do that? When the owner(s) refused, they were immediately accused of being racist and transphobic and the workers threatened to strike if their non-disclose demands were not met.

Can you imagine being the owner of a place and all of a sudden your employees banded together with a list of demands including that you hand over the business for free to all of them? I own a business and I know damn sure what I would do. I'd get rid of everyone and start over. It appears as though that is exactly what the owner of Doc Marie's did too. However, because the woke mob in Portland would probably picket and attack the business if they did reopen, they probably aren't ever going to do so.

As a fellow business owner, I feel bad for the people who put all the time and money into opening this place only to have it sabotaged by the staff. However, at the same time I feel like they built this maze they can't get through by attempting to befriend the mob in the first place. I truly believe that the SJW mob doesn't actually have a list of demands that can possibly be satisfied and even if someone did manage to accomplish all the things on said list, another list would emerge in no time at all. Attempting to cater to this group is a Sisyphean task.
