THE BEAUTY OF THE GHANAIAN POLITICS

Its funny how we cry foul anytime the ruling party makes any shady and secretive decision which has great national security issues...most of us preferably will want the government of the day to make his citizens aware of all the decisions thats being taken. but we refuse to understand that certain decisions are just meant for just the few(yes, just the few).
i quite remember the then opposition party in our beautiful country went toe-to-toe with then ruling party over the issue of GITMO 2 who had to settle in the country, all sort of meanings were read into the decision as to why the then government decided to accept them without parliamentary ratification...security experts were brought to the fore and assured us of our safety since the GITMO 2 detainees posed no threat to our national security. but i kept on asking the same question over and over again, ...BUT WHY GHANA...??? THANK GOD, we over came...

USA's military to set base in GHANA, what will be the position of most well meaning Ghanaians...??? will the current opposition also rise up to defend the country since people become more patriotic when they are in opposition...???
will the ruling party get their best communicators to try and communicate the issue to the citizenry?
...i think my questions are for the gods anyway...
my question again is, what at all are they here for?
