¿Why I don´t believe in anarchy?

in #politics7 years ago

Hi dear steemians

Well... Here in Steemit I've found lots of posts supporting anarchy and actually very well-based. I've read some and found that people really believe in this "System" and i totally respect and tolerate that opinion, but I always think what it would be like.

First I want to highlight that I'm not a fan of state control, I totally valorate the autonomy of people as a fundamental aspect of construction of society. ¿But can we really live without an state? Hey, years have been passing and with modernity we could learn that when the state doesn't get involved in the matter of people, but at the same time state is neccesary for normality and estability.

These two are the main things when I say I'm against anarchy, and living in Venezuela has shown me a little bit what anarchy is!
*Normality: normal is what we are used to, right? Normality is then normal things happening in the time, normal for us is to have legal regulations, normal for us is not surpass the rights of others and also respect to mine, anarchy bases in a perfect society which is not plausible nowadays, when my rights are surpassed it's when anarchy doesn't work and in Venezuela (A society like most in the world, 'cause we have more ignorant people than cult ones) I've seen consequences of people that don't even matter a little bit about your rights or even respecting you which is kinda anarchist!
*Estability: in order to have functional society, it needs to be estable and today in Venezuela neither we have normality nor estability, if only Maduro weren't in the presidency, we would be a full anarchy and watching what anarchy causes, it cannot be a form of life anywhere!

So not having these two aspects means not having life quality and the worst thing is that life quality isn't going to be in your hands, it going to be in others hands also. The question is then: I would prefer my personal liberty to be in many hands or barely depend in one hand?

Thanks for reading me! See you guys again tomorrow. Hope you liked my post.

Cryptocurrency has a lot of support who believe in anarchy or capitalist anarchy. They believe that decentralization brings freedom.

Yes, there is a lot of support for it on Steemit and Steemit is run as an anarchy based system for the most part. And, because of this, Steemit is full of upvote bots and flag wars. If you post about a certain topic, you will be down voted into oblivion. If you speak out about such things, you will be down voted into oblivion.

Having only been around for just barely 3 years, Steemit has proven that all anarchy ends in dictatorship, where the strong man rules.

Exactly! and cryptocurrencies also have a controlled side, just watch the "PETRO". At the end, anarchy is not bareable in any system nowadays.

How do you think the current system come to be? Anarchy was the norm until one stronger anarchic gang beat all the other gangs to become the government. Do you prefer that? Do you think the government is civilized?

Governments are civilized if people are, example: nordic countries which live with pretty much liberty and with transparent governments. People by itself have shown not being civilized at all... And you are talking about a long time ago, technology can change that a lot... At the end we, as humanity, were in nature state where the law does not have power because there is any law. Is that what we want or even, that is what we could cope with? Thanks for your comment!

So happy you mentioned Venezuela. You talk about anarchy in Venezuela, but actually, Venezuela is a perfect example of what happens when the State gets too big. Venezuela has a big af government. We can't talk about "anarchy" in terms of "anarcho-capitalism" when the government controls EVERYTHING.

Actually, if tomorrow the government disappears, and Maduro isn't on the presidency anymore, all our problems would be solved. Obviously, there would be chaos at first, but without all the regulations Venezuelan government has, it would be really easy to be a capitalist society, and therefore, have progress.

Maybe anarchy could make chaos at first, but at the end, the majority of people only want a peaceful life where they can live without worrying about their next meal. There's where capitalism and free market comes into play.
