FCC repeals 'Net Neutrality'
(A conspiracy to thwart cryptocurrencies?)
Recently I posted a note that espoused my personal opinion with regard to cryptocurrencies and their inevitable clash with the world's fiat monetary systems. And the possibility that investing heavily into gold may perhaps not currently be a good decision.
One of the inevitable failings of those attempting to, in some clairvoyant manner, determine the future of their investment potentials, is an inability to conspiratorially think far enough ahead. Perhaps this is due to human nature. The idea of, without respite, contemplating the motives and tactics of those who seek to maintain centralized control of the worlds wealth, is but a tiresome and distasteful distraction from our personal inner peace.
As such I offer, in an effort to redeem myself from such distraction, a single glimpse into one such possible epiphany, hence eliminating the need for other to follow my personal path of self destruction; whilst sweetening the world's pot of blissful consumption.
If you have read my previous post regarding cryptocurrencies and you think I was incorrect, I suggest you pay attention to China's most recent move (yesterday) of backing the yuan with gold.
Yes, and so it begins....
The primary component of contemplating a good conspiracy is to think deap, very deap, like you are playing a game of chess. As such, one must assume that those with whom one is engaged, are in fact planning many moves ahead. The primary difference within the topic of this conversation is that "motivation" not tactic must be the primary question addressed.
The motivation with regard to cryptocurrencies and those who would see their demise is a simple one. If you already control the world's wealth, why would you give that up? The answer is not only simply but really kind of scary.
Now is probably a good time to confess a small sin. If you thought you'd be reading about the Trump administration's cohertion of the FCC in an effort to garner control of the internet and thwart the massive movement that is, millions of everyday individuals who seek to take back that which is theirs through development of the block chain and decentralized wealth, ...well, that was click bait, sorry about that!
(Feeling bad.....ok I'm over it!)
You see, if you consume information at the rate I do, a few rules of engagement are most advisable. The first being, if it comes from government, regardless of political party or affiliation, it's probably not as it seems...
Some simple examples of this would be, "if you want to keep your doctor..., or , Benghazi was about a youtube video. Wait! An olive branch for the those who might be triggered by those examples! How about, "weapons of mass destruction" ....another prime example wherein trusting political leaders is most unadvised. The list goes on and we all know it.
Back to motivation. The simple motivational premise here is to stop anything that might unbalance the status quo and it's systematic control of our lives. So, back to thinking deap. We have motivation, what about mechanism? Through what process do we destroy our competitors? The return to a gold based monetary standard would be most effective in destroying cryptocurrencies however no good chess player engages upon a single pronged melee.
During presidential candidate Barack Obama's bid for the white house he proudly professed the United States Postal Service as an example of government and business successfully coexisting. Most surprisingly, considering the USPS looses hundreds of millions of dollars per quarter whilst UPS and FedEx produce hundreds of millions of dollars in profit each quarter doing exactly the same thing, was the fact that no one called him on it!
If I could add a verse to "Gods of the Copy Book Headings" it would conclude as follows; and once again they said, if government touches it, it will be destroyed"
This is a simple truth...
As such, if government tell you net neutrality is about fairness. What do you think the chances are that that is true? Exactly!
The simple fact is that if the internet is regulated by governments rather than being controlled by a free market, cryptocurrencies will inevitably be regulated out of existence or taxed at source (exchanges) sufficiently to render them an unlikely source of wealth. Much like the fiat currencies of today, those who have wealth will be the only ones who can create wealth...
Once again I must say, this is a war not a competition and in war there are winners and losers. Those who currently control the world's wealth are experts at destroying anything that threatens to change that...
Be safe and be well my friends!
