Politicians Are Protesting By Throwing Dead Fish In The River Thames
A number of pro-Brexit politicians have taken to to the river Thames to protest a deal that ‘betrays’ the UK’s fishermen.
Britain’s fishing communities were left disappointed after finding out they would not regain full control of the UK’s fishing waters until 2020.
The announcement was met with considerable anger as many thought the UK would take immediate full control following ‘Brexit Day’, 29th March, 2019.
In a show of protest a number of politicians have hopped on a trawler to toss fish in the Thames.
Of course, no Brexit boat would be complete without Nigel Farage…

Understandably people are pretty perplexed by the whole thing. Whether you’re pro or anti Brexit, it’s no secret that the process has barely been a smooth one.
This is just another setback in the lead up to the UK parting ways with the EU.

There was a twist to the story too. Turns out that the fishing boat had been refused permission to dock at any pier. A revelation that feels like a perfect metaphor for Brexit if ever there was one.
