The city is very important to the Jewish community from all over the world. There is a tomb of Dawid Biderman. He was the spiritual leader of the Hasidim.
Every year Lelow hosts Jewish pilgrims from all over the world.

Miejscowość jest bardzo ważna dla społeczności żydowskiej z całego świata, znajduje się tutaj bowiem grób Cadyka Dawida Biderman - przywódcy duchowego Chasydów. Każdego roku do Lelowa ściągają pielgrzymki Żydów z całego świata.

Cementery / Cmentarz

The old Jewish cemetery that once existed in Lelów unfortunately no longer existed, was destroyed during the Second World War, But there is still one of the cemeteries that can be considered historic.The oldest graves in the cemetery date back to the 19th century and belong to the owners of the surrounding lands.

Najstarszy żydowski cmentarz niestety już nie istnieje, nie przetrwał okresu 2 wojny światowej, lecz wciąż istnieje drugi, również bardzo stary cmentarz, na którym znajdują się groby właścicieli ziemskich okolicznych miejscowości z 19 wieku.

# Church / Kościół **EN** Probably in the years 1340 - 1365 a church was built in Lelow, soon after a monastery was established, which unfortunately no longer exists. This church is a real hardwood :) For all these years, survived the fire, which consumed to almost complete and Nazi inconvenience. Near the church there are very moving memorabilia after his sad history. **PL** Kościół powstał prawdopodobnie w latach 1340 - 1365, niedługo później założony został również klasztor, który nie przetrwał próby czasu. Ale kościół... Nad nim czuwa ręka boska :) przetrwał pożar, którego nie powinien przetrwać, przetrwał również okupację niemiecka, która nie była dla niego łaskawa... Przy kościele możemy znaleźć kilka pamiątek z tragicznej historii jego, oraz ludzi z Lelowa. ![image]()

**EN** The last but not less important thing of local folklore are the local dishes. But you have to know them yourself :) **PL** Ostatnim punktem z Lelowa jest lokalna kuchnia. Jej nie da się opisać, tego trzeba spróbować :) da się tutaj zjeść mega tanio prawdziwy lokalny obiad.
