My life as a german police officer #1 The start!
Hello my dear Steemians!
This is the start to my blog about my job as a german police officer. My plan is to make posts about full work days of mine in here to get you an insight about what I deal with every day. I started the blog in german already, but I think many of you english speeking Steemians would also be interested in this topic.
But first, something about myself: I am 27 years old and a police officer for five years now. I currently live and work in a small city in the northern part of Germany. I work for the local police, my job is to patrol the streets and help people where- and whenever they need me. In those five years on duty I have been spit on, threatened with knives and got injured several times (just minor injuries, luckily). I have helped dozens of people in need and have seen others which could not be helped anymore.
My goal with this blog is to educate people about what I am dealing with on everyday basis and maybe to work out some differences from being a cop in other parts of the world, especially the US. So feel free to ask me anything you want!
