Woman made to sit on the roof of moving vehicle

35 year old married woman, Jaswinder Kaur, of India's Amritsar was made to sit on top of police jeep as punishment. When the vehicle took a sharp turn, the woman lost her balance and fell to the ground.
According to souces, the police had gone to pick up her father-in-law who was embroiled in a property dispute. The man was not to be found, so the police decided to pick up the woman's husband instead. That's when the woman protested. And in response, the police put her on the roof of their vehicle as punishment.
