Pokemon Go Players Are Having Near Misses With Minefields In Bosnia

Posavina bez mina, (Bosnia without mines) an agency focussed on de-mining Bosnia, has issued a warning to Pokemon Go players stating that they need to take more care to avoid areas of the country that are known to still have mines buried in the ground.

Here is the statement issued:

Danas smo dobili informaciju da ima slučajeva gdje korisnici aplikacije Pokemon Go u BiH zalaze u minski sumnjive/rizične površine da bi našli pokemona. Mole se svi građani da to ne čine i da poštuju postavljene znakove minske opasnosti i da ne zalaze u područja koja su im nepoznata.

Roughly translated for English Users:
"Today we received information that there are cases where users of the app 'Pokémon GO' are frequenting suspected hazardous / risky surfaces to find Pokemon. We ask all citizens not to do so and to respect posted signs of mine threats and not to venture into areas that are unknown to them."
