A Universal Mystery
If I died in my sleep
Would I know it at all?
Would I feel myself rise
Or seemingly fall?
Would the intricate lattice
Begin to collapse?
Would the strings of my lotus
Dissolve me, perhaps?
Would life's minute cells
Coagulate the soul?
Would the fabric of me
Cease to be anymore?
If I died in my sleep
I fear ignorance of this --
A universe, forgotten,
an eternal abyss.

It’s an interesting thought. I don’t recall dreams anymore. When I was younger I can recall the environment around me causing effects in my own dream. So one might in deed know they die while dreaming depending on how that death occurred from this point of view.
I find the afterlife a rather crazy thing to think about . My sister’s kid recognized his great grandfather who has been long dead before the kid was ever alive. Oddly enough he called him grandpa since he did not know better. Pick him right out of an old photo from a family reunite, and said he sometimes visits them. I just dint see too much of a realized between grandpa and grandfather to think the kid picked up on it that way.
Then we just have the oddly bazar things happen. Family members seeing halos over their birthday cakes in photos that do not show up when its printed, and smoke alarms randomly giving a larger than normal single BEEP and then acting normal again while walking past them.
I once saw an angel twice when I woke up. I also heard it call my name, which woke me up. There are definitely different experiences outside the normal waking state!
Wow. This is so deep. But solving your mystery, well you would surely know it if you die in your sleep. Depends on your karma whether you would rise or you would fall. Coagulation of soul is a cycle. You will get another body soon. You might remain in the soul form if your lucky. You will forget it all only if you take another birth but will remember it again when you would be back after dying. People who can do astral projections, lucid dreaming, telepathy etc knows about it. These mysteries are getting resolved soon.
I wish I too could take part in that contest. But seems like its over. I too write deep philosophical poetries. Have a look at my work also. I don't write about all this because people might not believe. But I try to convey my messages to them through logics. Would love your feedback if possible. Keep up the work.

Ii don't know how i will die but die in a sleep it's better will die seen dream all the way
It is the most peaceful. Dying during a dream seems like it would be best, especially since crossing over is probably psychedelic.
Yeah i have discuss some of die place or ways how to and i like freezing or flying from a mountain
