Best Poetry of the Week - Week #2 (Steemit Poets United)

Before I go on to talk abuot this issue, I would like to remind you all that currently, we are collecting feedback and suggsetions on our Poetry Contest Ideas. Make sure to give it a look and send feedback before the post pays out (on Sunday).
The Method
Each day, I open every poem shared on the Steemit Poets United discord channel. I upvote and comment on my favourites. If they have the #poetsunited tag, I bookmark the poem, and make them eligible for this curation project. Every Friday, after the set amount go to the Daily Issue, I evaluate which poetry I like best, and feature the top 3 in this post.
As some of the poems might be no longer receiving payout when you get to read them, this posts' payout will be shared with the feature poets. This is how the SBD will be shared:

Make sure to share with the #poetsunited tag and be active with the community to have a chance of being featured! Those who drop links and never interact may be excluded from this intiative, as priority is given to those who contribute to the community.

The rewards are dependant on the payout, so be sure to upvote and resteem for higher visibility! The bigger the reward and community, the better opportunities we are providing you.
If you have not yet been chosen, you might still have had a great poem! In the end, I have to select just a few, and as always, my opinion is subjective and is biased to my own likes (although I try to remain objective). Do your best and enjoy being part of the community. You might still be entitled to a virtual hug via comments or discord; so feel free to ask!

Thank you! I am glad you appreciate this. I am a new Steemian myself. My account is only 29 days old, but I have had many others help me in my path, and won my fair share of contests already. Giving back seems to be the logical way to go! We will be trying to continue both this curation project as well as start a contest in the upcoming week. We will try to give some SBD reward as incentive - but exposure is the main goal. Unfortunately, we have to focus our rewards more on the official contests, therefore posts like this may not get huge payouts unless more people upvote. Last week we had a good payout, so I hope it keeps going on :)

Your poetry is consistently good, so it was bound to happen! You do deserve winning. And this is great because you write without trying to win, because it is not a contest in itself.
Oooh I don't chat much because I am sort of an extreme introvert but i would like to look at the stuff shared can do i just type in steem poets ?
You are free to join the discord group, and read what our members share. You could leave comments or upvotes on their posts, obviously, and that is a big part of community. You can also tag your poetry with poetsunited and share it on our discord, for both our members and curators to see :) Chatting is not obligatory, but dropping links and never commenting on other's posts is frowned upon. That is the kind of 'activity' I seek ;) Although, feel free to use it how you want. I understand some people do not have time or energy to comment.
I am just weird and shy LOL- it is so much easier to leave messages in the wall and then go running into the rose bush ;) ...I might slink by from time to time :)
There isn't as much chatting go on as other groups and it is not obliged! but you definitely should drop by! Also, I did use to classify myself as an introvert, but look at me now!
