I, you, and my love for you

I do not know for sure
when love is present,
like everyone who asks;
When did the first seconds of life begin?

I only know one thing for sure
that I should be able
build the ark and entrust
one oar to you,

and we will speed
every second of time
which we will paint
with longing colors.
