Untitled pt 11

My alarm went off in the background
I hated that annoying sound
But today I was filled with life
No other reason than last night

I had more energy than ever before
I was bouncing out the door
I got to work all cheery
Thinking nothing in life could get me down and dreary

I was in such a good mood
I hadn't felt so good in forever
I just wanted the day to go by
All I wanted was to be together

I managed to make it through work
I got off early thanks to my zeal
I finished all the things I had to do
I even fixed my bosses wheel

I called her number
She picked up again
She spoke quietly
I could feel the pain

Turns out I'm being prosecuted
My brother had a good lawyer
And their plan was perfectly executed
'I'm so sorry'
'I'm really worried'
I'll be fine
The most they can do is take over my portion
I'll have to approach the case with more caution
'If there's any way I can help'
'I'll be here if things go south'
I really appreciate it
'I'll rearrange my world to fit'

With that I said my good byes
Climbed on my bike and started to fly
What's gonna happen in the future?
I guess trying to figure it out's futile

I got home in a flash
I had plenty of time for a quick crash

Another weird dream
This time all I heard was screaming

I woke up with a migraine
I could barely see straight
Oh crap
Did I really sleep this late

I stumbled around looking for med's
That could sooth my aching head
I heard a violent knock on my door
I walked over to it, slipping on stuff lying on the floor

I looked through the peep hole
To see her on the other side of the door
I opened immediately
Can I come inside
'Sure' My migraine was screaming impudently

'Come take a seat'
She took the shoes off her feet
Curled up on the couch
I sat next to her
What's up
'My heads just sore'
I'm sorry I didn't call
'It's all good'
'I actually prefer that you're here'
I just wanted to have you near

I leaned my head against her shoulder
I leaned her over to properly hold her
There was a blanket on the top
I pulled it over

Are you going to sleep
'Yeah, my mental capacities a bit weak'
She kissed my forehead
I stared into her eyes for a while
I couldn't help but smile
They started to hang low
Looking as sparkly as sun kissed snow

She fell asleep
I wasn't far behind
It wasn't even five minutes after
My brain drifted off into time
