January the 7th, January the 7th
A day he'd normally forget but he hasn't
He broke one of his vows that morning
I bet you both saw it coming
You both fell in the same trap
But still attracted the people's clap
Lost in his own world of fantasy
Seeing right what he'd once call fallacy
Yea the connection felt magical
The vibes were lyrical
The beautiful kaleidoscope of butterflies
Danced in both your stomachs for miles
Sometimes it felt right, sometimes it felt wrong
Trying to shut the voices out but for how long?
Trying to negotiate his way out of the pit
Only to realize he was getting deeper into it.
