To the water's edge and back
Curious are the sub-aquatic automata; What is happening? Mimicking whimsical wishes, So, you sink back into your pond, Deciding that you'd rather stay here; // a Weird Fish poem // a Weird Fish photo
Cast a line into the ocean;
From your small, magnificent pond,
Reel in the droplets that mean the most,
Fill up on the thoughts that make you fond...
They swim around so effortlessly,
Circular motions Circular motions
Drifting along with the current, sheepishly...
Whales 'accidentally' eat the fishes,
But to no one is this suspicious,
Only to the Whales is it delicious.
A truly sad, submerged, sumptuous meal,
Is what the majority feel,
Unconscious efforts turn baby blue into teal,
And surrender all that is real...
Reflecting on all that made you fond,
Home: a song you sing and never fear.
I enjoyed this. Been feeling very anxious. This was almost ASMR-like
