Parcels
Chasing distant echoes, Letting go was easy, A helpless glance, Departing down our sandy trails, // a Weird Fish poem
Beyond the point of no return,
The comet will travel once more,
Parceled perfectly with a ribbon,
Awaiting arrival.
Whilst silently discussing,
The coalesced Emotions,
One of us believed to be real.
Watching as birds migrate,
Slipping away from Winter;
Effortlessly.
All the while,
Trying to grab back on,
Neither hand cannot.
Surrendered my only wish,
A fleeting moment,
Remembered for a lifetime.
Side-by-side into the fog,
Following something that sparkles,
Awaiting to receive -again - our parcels.
