The inspiration of this poem was sparked by a chat I engaged in earlier today with my bestie, she goes by the username ifeoluwa88#3524 in neoxian City server on discord.

She was immersely in love with a song she heard in church yesterday been Sunday, So along the line I dropped a short poem to give her some embrace, funny enough she responded I use it to make my entry into @vit's dbread poem of hope contest.

Stressed?
Don't be tired
weariness is for a while
strength is within you
clear your doubts
Oil your determination like a car
repair your faults
Don't fall, everything is alright
shine bright like a star
lit your lamp
they show you the way in the dark

Can't you hear the whispers?
It says;
let water be your example, they refresh
learn from ants, they are wise
gaze at the sun for it energise
to sow?
farmers clear the weeds
hurdles grow like thorns,
man up, they only cause bruises
reap in hope
your harvest proves you won.

broken?
Open your eyes
gaze at the writing on the wall
let the mind heal
Patients believe in doctors
revive yourself,
drink hope like a drug
bird lean on it wings
Soar high with your eagle
It's in you
let hope be your ladder
Cling and climb
finish strong
win this race
don't be tired.
