A CRAZY WORLD: BIZARRE
We are the residents of dystopia
The inhabitants of all that misery
Whose life got caught the wrong side of the world
Tilling the stoic soil from morn to dusk
We whose shine had been dim
By our "rulers!"
Our so-called ambassadors
Ambassadors of misery and ache
Who promised freedom
Of which we've become slaves to
Extortioners!
Who amass their wealth
By stealing from the poor market woman
Who survives by the meagre wares
Displayed on her squeaky table
They're our "leaders"
Extorting the poor and enriching the rich
Sharing "the national cake"
Acquiring more pot-bellies as honorary degrees.
It's an alarming world!
Spiced with rhetorical questions
Questions left unanswered
Littering the streets of this bizarre age!
