Saturday Morning Urban Farm Back Yard Sanctuary
I, Fairy,
In early garden
Breezy sparkling air and dwarfed by high Delphinium.
The smells!
Hello Tomatoes!
Honey Bee tipped upside down
Prayerfully explores Lupine's dimpled centre -
Designer rust and black
White background with pale
Mists of pink and green.
Soft whooshes of stately cousin Raven's wings
Propel him to his solitary mission in the high rocks
Where he laughs at
Tiny human follies,
Clucks biblical advice to their deafened ears:
Do not hesitate to love Yourself fiercely
That you may love Others.
Hummingbird buzzes by and perches
On fat plastic rung – who has
Seen a humming still? Ever?
Communal colors under blue
Big sky assaulted
By monotone honking Alarm!
Bubble punctured...
Then whiffs of Diesel from neighboring Truck
In lieu of Sage and Clover!
I watch my diligent Bee sister for inspiration:
Move closer to flowers.
This quaint Montana town is
Crowded.
Ma Nature spoils us with real
With space with green growth
With healing peace.
Hummer nods goodbye and teleports to nearby Woods.
Dirt Biker does the same.
Wild Roses and Pine
Reign again, a minute..
