FINITE NIGHT

On the other side of day
where sunlight doesn't shine
we dance below a chandelier
of stars fearing not the night

And as silhouettes and shadows
play amongst the darkness
we kiss so that the lonesome moon
could share in our enchantment

But no night ever lasts forever
and she leaves me once the dawn arrives
our starry sky of dreams too quickly
washed away with light...
