World without love (poem)
Dating back when
Love was a sin
We shared in our own crimes
We held ourselves dear
Swallowed our fears
And begged for mercy from life
How long can my love stay dead
If my heart and soul are wed
We called out in pain
As punishment reigned
But we refused to falter
We clasped our hands
Held on till the end
And then we seemed to vaulter
How long can my flesh revive
How long can my soul survive
The judge walked in
It's clear we had sinned
A judgement would soon be settled
The man we face
His heart replaced
With something as cold as metal
Hang them high
Until they die
Not another breath
Should enter their chest
Unless it's an apologetic sigh
Let them die
The crowd was silent
Waiting for violence
But soon they'd be displeased
For our faith is strong
We'll sing this song
Of when were released
See love pleasing
And diseasing
They all caught our plague
If we must die
Your honor's plight
They as well should be dead
