Building a progressive nation; are youths a part of the process?

We live in a country where...

I am the system
I am the algorithm that places priority on screens
That misplace the notion that you screen everything that comes your way. Now they're bent on everything screen. Tv screen. Phone screens
I am the voice screaming only to hear the voices of others
I am the the programming that ensures our lives aint complete until we are dressed the hash tag trending.
I am the the flow chart that measures progress with my increasing likes on instagram and facebook
And I am a public figure when I have a lot of followers following.. following not me.. definitely not me but my identity on the internet. Which is quite important
But outside the internet and when things get real. And I speak will their bodies really move to follow.
No really.. follow me..
And listen.
Am I really worth nothing if I know nothing of the number one celebrity in entertainment. No I'm not saying they're not wonderful. But I'm just asking. Does that make me.. worthless. Am I worth less because
I am a college kid thats due to graduate in less than.. two years.. but is that really all that I am. In a country of a hundred and seventy million people with less than 10million people living the life of their dreams. What happens to the rest 160million. Are they doomed to a situation that they did not create. Are they doomed to a life dictated by others to governing officials who are named civil servants. Well I don't know if the meaning of Servants changed in politics
But a servant is one who provides help of some manner. So what happens when your servant begins to run your home.. this country is our home. It is our duty to keep our home. And when children refuse to do their work the servants use the opportunity to take over. And Like editors they try to edit us.

Cause We are so caught up in what is trending
That we forget to remember
We are meant to be mending
Broken hearts and lost hope.
Our hands are meant to fight and work and build And teach and take responsibility and with these arms of ours raise Nigeria out of its tears and keep the helpless from drowning In it. Do not covet another country. Your home will continue to lack what you do not put there. But sincerely Nigeria will be great..so grate off mediocrity. And upgrade.. cause. it has no choice cause I'll never let it stay down.
If it takes the youth to fight in a war to win
It takes the youth to build the country to stand
