POETRY: OUR CURRENCY;Those days...These days

Those days when dollar used to mean nothing because naira meant something,
But these days dollar means everything because naira don't even mean nothing.
Those days when dads used to stay with their family to see their child grow up and fill him with life basics.
But these days dads don't even know their sons and neither do sons know their pa, they just grow and face life their way.
Those days when moms used to cook for their family pouring love in every bite.
But these days moms don't even know how to cook not to talk of taking care of family.
Those days when exams used to have merits,
But these days the only merit I see in exams is my departmental president.
There is so much to learn from those days but how do we turn those days to these days?
Practically impossible but we can turn these days to days.
It depends on us all.
