Shepherd's story

in #poetry4 years ago

The river that flows down the hill,
Is never able to be a moment still,
The rocks and pebbles at it's edge,
Lie as steady as the dead,
The waters blue and grasses red,
Flowers so starry, shower mist fed,
The lanes so mucky, yet joys tread,
For this is my home, welcome my friend.

For I left the concrete,am now jungle settled,
I fought those battles, where senses fiddled,
I grew weary wearing opininons, left riddled,
Ran so fast for the mountains, felt kindled.

And now when I speak,
I speak from my heart,
So much that I have lost,
Yet so much to be taught!

The mornings showed me my birth,
The clouds showed me doubts,
The rains showed me the sweat,
The nights showed me the dreams,
How intricate yet simple is the design,
Yet we walk so feverishly,I resign,
For O human animals,
Come back to the nature,
Trust me ,You are in search of some future,
It's here where is real lifestyle and couture,
The lessons are so real,
Survival is a deal,
I understand you chose comfort for your life,
To say the truth, here, there ain't any comfortable as shepherd and his wife.

They'll tell you the stories which they told me,
You'll leave your home, your soul beholding,
and you'll get the point,
After death, who knows you'll remember your elusive joint?
