Sugar steeped in the fibers of our bones
Queens dethroned for cheap thrills
Coyote lamenting for moon's honey

Chocolate fingered under nails
Bitten like shark's mistaken victim
Human's underwater trying to breath
Forgetful, Ocean's surface once mirrored reality

The saddest only way to get a glimpse of what's alive
Opposite surfaces reflecting reality
Folding upon itself
Dreaming
To one day spiral out of control

"Seeing" eyes have gotten us this far
Overdue longing
Beauty in beast's beheld
Flowers bloom from the womb of thought
From where being springs
And we all become drunk with the sea.
