The Cry of the Weary (A Poem for those who are tired of the world)

The Cry Of The Weary

My Father told me, "Be Strong!"
The world will keep on keep on beating you so face it head-on;
My mother kept telling me "Be kind."
The world will keep on testing you so leave the bad things behind.

I stood my ground,
And I braved all my storms;
The rain keep on falling,
The cruel wind keep whistling on.

Father, my knees are weak,
My hands are bloodied
For they are merciless in every streak;
Mother, my heart is broken and full of sorrow,
With every words they utter, it is pierced with an arrow;

I wept and faced the world alone,
With a fearful heart and a broken soul;
I stood my ground and held my shield on,
Still the rain kept on falling,
And the cruel wind whistled on and on.

note: I hope you like what I wrote. This is what I feel tonight. To ease whatever it is that Im feeling and for me to face the world again.
