Once upon a time in a very remote village, there lived a very wealthy man but a widower and happens to have an only child, a son whom he loved to its utmost
This man has lost his beloved wife in the early phase of their marital experience and in order to fulfil the promise made to her during their dating and courtship, he has decided to remain unmarried and as a result was left with only a child, as fortune bestows, a male.
As a saying goes that: >an only palm nut can't be allowed to roast in a flame of fire, this responsible father did all he could to see and ensure the proper upbringing of this only hope
These were one of the major life necessities he ensured that his son enjoyed:

  1. Food
  2. Clothing
  3. Good shelter
  4. Good and adequate educational system
  5. Moral standard etc

unfortunately, a war arose between their community and the neighbouring community so the king of theirs declared a mandatory war participation for all the male inhabitants of their community. The day the warriors came to take Ikenna the only son from his Father Duru, it wasn't an easy one as Mr Duru knew that he was his all and all. He even went into demanding for payment to sponsor all the other participants and the community as a whole during the war fare but the king and his chariots insisted that if not only his son, nothing else do they need. Alas, he gave in to their opinion and Ikenna was taken away

Sixty days and nights in the war fare, Mr Duru didn't hear from his beloved son and was downtrodden emotionally and physically this even started affecting his health. After twenty more days, Ikenna was apparently dead. He was killed in the war. So Mr Duru became severely ill and some parts of his body became paralysed he automatically became a weak and indoor man. He started managing and enduring life the way he saw it but one fateful day, someone paid him a visit:
*A young man came and sympathised with him for the lost and explained to him how Ikenna actually got killed. This visitor said that he was ikenna' best friend and that the arrow that struck Ikenna was actually directed to him but on the course of preventing the arrow from penetrating into his body, Ikenna on defence of his Friend, was pierced by the arrow and died on the spot. So in his memory, this his friend carved a portrait of Ikenna and presented it as a gift to the Father who collected it with overwhelmed heart and so his sorrow got diminished
Whenever he feels like missing his son's presence, he would go at a glance and behold his carved portrait this he continued until when he knew that life is running short of him. He called his Lawyer and give him his will which is to sell all his properties and estate on the last breathe of his existence. So it was documented, signed and stamped. Few days later Mr Duru kicked the Pocket and people gathered to buy his properties, people of high standards such as Senators, governors, renowned dignitaries etc were all seated waiting to make their purchases.
The barrister came and brought the portrait as the first thing to be bought, meanwhile all were indignant at him for making such fowl play on them, infuriated, none made an aution price for close to 3hrs. finally a very wretched man stood up and priced the portrait for four hundred naira and it was given him. Then they asked the barrister to go into another item and he reluctantly ignored all, stating that: Mr Duru's instructions were that the first thing to be sold is the portrait of his son and anyone who buys it, buys all the properties of his
That was how the wretched man was able to gain things he never expected in his generations to come and got blessed with wealths, automatically became a wealthy man.

                                       >LESSON:

GOD has given us Jesus Christ his only Son and whosoever embrasses and accepts him (Jesus) has accepted life in its fullnes and nothing shall the person lack both now and forever. ÆMèñ
