At night with mind racing

I simply prefer the night time, the humdrum activity of the daylight hours ceases, the mundanity and desperate grasping is effaced with clarity of mind in it's place and for a while my soul is at peace.

Never a sublime thought has reached me in the sun's supposed presence, sat on my bony arse, twiddling my thumbs, touching myself, wondering how I can turn this terrifying excess of free time into something valuable.

Here's an answer, sleep! Sleep through it all! Sleep from sunrise until sunset, it's summer solstice and it doesn't make a blind bit of difference. Save yourself for the main event, for the limitless freedom of the black expanse. The same now here as in all places.
