Today I stand
In a windless city
Crumbling around me
Shattered skyscrapers
Scrape nothing but dirt
Their remains fertilizing
A ground where nothing
Will ever grow again

Today I pick up the disintegrating
Bits of everything that's left
Try to start rebuilding
Try to figure out just where to begin
I have nothing anymore

Today I resolve
To rekindle that old flame
To reconstruct all that I have lost
Remind the world
What empires I can forge

Today I am reborn
