Mankind's Grief (A Poem)

Lives ruined by accusations
Justice by the mob's expectations
Innocence lost without question
"What's happening to the world?"
He asked crying in desperation
Heartless few spewing propaganda
Their blackened souls covered in miasma
Society, has it really fallen too far?
Agendas shamelessly pushing us to war
Humanity losing its dignity
The innocents crushed without pity
By the few that lost their sanity
The world is indeed changing
But not for the good it's cringing
Is there still any hope for us?
None, not while the world's a mess
Maybe it's time for a revolution?
But violence is not the solution...
How could we escape our doom?
Definitely not with a "boom!"
