Darkness

darkness is always around me
never alone am i
following me like a shadow
burning away all my desires
but allowing me to dream
hoping for the best
and receiving the worst
a 1000 doors with a 1000 more in each
looking for the final but
not seeing the door
i guess i lost the key long ago
looking for the light i am blind
darkness is alway there
burning deeper into me
i follow my own path
to my own destiny
