Out of Breath
Lost, slowly suffocating
Heart pounds to erratic beat
Gasping for air, no relief
Pain and the horror of black
Eyes water, hands shake
The mind needs oxygen
Fighting stops, arms drop
It is the end
It is rather dark, but it feels right. The world is mean and often overwhelming. Being trapped by debt, a dead end job, and crappy living space the world seems to turn you into a cog just spinning in place. I will have more cheerful work in the future.
