POEM/ COME AWAY MY DEAR ME

Come away my dear one,
Come away my fair one,
Come and play and dance
To the song of songs.
For my love for you
Is more than just a song.

I love my dove
My dove be still
Until I sing
To my king.

Chirp on and crook,
Of the love for the king,
Sonorous is the voice that appeals,
To my heart it flutters,
For the love that abides,
And the love that makes me sing.

This love poem is written for my love. His love has been the best to have happened to me. My heart sings for him this morning.
