In Love With A Narcissist
My heart breaks every time you push me away
Loving you have tossed me to the cliff
I have been on the edge a couple of times
because of you
I have wanted to quit
I have put up with the decision to stop but my heart keeps holding me back
You make loving you so tough
You make me feel stupid
But my heart don't care
The words from friends hold no smoke
They are just like empty sounds conveying no message
My heart is shattered as yours
I am down for you but you are against love
I can stand for you but you stood against love
You acting all Strong
The Iron man they call you
Some see you as a narcissist
Others as stubborn and a pompous alpha
But when I look into that eyes I see a broken man
I know you have been hurt
I know your scars are still there
And anytime you perceive love around you
It opens and brings out the wound
I may be terrible at other things
But I will be good with you
I am no Katy Perry but I am going to love you unconditionally
Just come with your dirty laundry
I will take your imperfections and mold them to perfections
I will make you see a reason to love love
Yeah I am crazily in love with the world's narcissist
And Yeah I am not Beyonce
And I can't compete but my love can
Allow me to act Fool in Love by Rihanna because my brain is gone and all I need is my heart to love you
I am going to be your superwoman
And hey I am no Lois Lane
But I will defend, protect you from every hurt
Come to me, my lover
And let me come to you
We are no Romeo and Juliet
But I want our love story to be told beyond the 30th century
Let's compose our love song that will be sing by generations to come
Break down your guard
Pull those walls down
And let me build a bridge to meet you.

It's been ages I last visited, I missed reading your writeups. I'm happy you're improving rapidly in this regards.
I knew back then when you majored in something different from poetry. You made a post sometime ago talking about how your poetry journey began, and since then, it's been memorable.
I like your style of poetry too, using everything about you, relatable events and real life experiences to communicate your emotions. For me, that's what poetry is, expression.
It saddens that I'm not a huge whale, I would have given you more love in here.
