He esteems numerous hello's, and despites goodbye's.
He hazards his life, he will bite the dust,
He does the majority of this to see that American Flag fly high.
What the vast majority don't get it,
Is our lives are in their grasp.
They keep us safe and stand firm,
They see some unpleasant things direct.
Miles away he wants to be home,
Tuning in to his wifes excellent voice on the telephone.
He knows she is appealing to God for his protected return,
To be back home he will never again long.
For being a trooper Is a troublesome assignment,
Numerous won't hesistate to inquire as to why,
For what reason do fighter's hazard their lives or even pass on.
Obviously to see our American Flag fly,
