Admittedly amused
but partially confused
by your words.

Taken by the whisper
as it makes its way
right through my head

Adherent to the lies,
never stop to question why
you feel alone.

And just how do you perceive
the light at the end of the tunnel?

And I cannot believe
it took you this long just to see
that I’ve been moving along
away from who I used to be
and just how do you feel
about losing control over me?

Driven by a whisper
of your sweet insanity
I prolong the end of needing
everything you meant to me.

Finding my way home
in the center of what I believe.

And in the end of it all,
it turns out I’m not who you think.

And if it takes you away,
