Run quickly, now, before the moon
spills secrets to the Devil.
She'll feed the wolves and wake the dead.
She'll tell them everything I said.

They'll lock me up and hold me down.
They'll make me wear a blue-green gown,
and then I'll whisper, like the wind,
into the phone where we have sinned.

And you will hear me, like a cloud,
"Shake the walls down, let me out."
You'll poison them and make them sleep
as time stands still and you shall kiss me.
