The love fades away!

Like the moon and the sun
I watch our love go in
Opposite direction
Like the rise and fall
Of the ocean tides
I watch as our love fall
And never to rise again this time
Like the debris buried in the ocean
So is the feelings buried

I watch as the whirlwind blow off the candle
That ignites our love
Even the birds aren't here
To announce our presence
With their soothing melody

Then it dawned on me that
Even mother nature as left us
It's more like a nightmare
But my heart tells me to
Snap out of it
Cos this is reality
Our once unshakable love
Has been shook to it's foundation
And our once immovable love
Has been moved to a place
Beyond our reach

A little tear dropped
And more followed
I let it all out
Cos this is the last time
I'll be crying over a spilled milk

Then the cloud smiled on me
With a rain washing away the pains of the night
A sign of relief I heaved as it cleanse
The tears away with the hurt

I have survived
I muttered to myself
Walking away and never looking back
