Poem for veterans on the Victory Day
Thanks to those who fought,
Who gave his life for us
In a dashing battle did not retreat,
And I loved my Motherland very much.
What a pity that we do not often remember you,
Those who gave us peace, peace
Your victory was not in vain,
The price of life and a broken fate.
Now everything is always enough for us,
Food, clothes, home heat
People do not ever forget,
What a terrible war was then.
Already so few of you are veterans,
They take their own, lived a year.
And to the last it hurts a heart wound,
For all who will never return.
