Freedom to be me

I annoy you, not because of what I say, 

I annoy you because I remind you that you are still asleep.

It drives you mad believing time has become your enemy

an evil terrorist who has broken into your psyche

and holds you hostage

You believe you are the victim, unarmed and vulnerable

so you become more and more enraged

I won't conform to the Norm, just to make you feel better 

I won't be muted and I can't be silenced

Yes, I would rather fly in the clouds than walk on land

and still, I will be waiting for you... Always
