Lens flicking
The lights are blinding
This curse is binding.

Spent my life lying
Publicly denying
That my life is a mess
But now I must confess.

A simple life
Free of guilt and strife
That's all I've ever wanted
But that wish was never granted.

<Hello steemians....this is a piece inspired by the numerous fake faces we have around us. They are always in front of the camera giving us the impression that they're cool and well to do and their life is just going well.... But guess what deep inside them they know that that's not the life they want to live... They feel they deserve a normal life like all the normal people out there but because of fear and probably wanting to belong they have no option than to die with their fake lives.
