My Ideal Community

A community where I can recognise people I can call my family and friends,
A community that cares and accepts,
A community for all and a place to be free,
A community full of people I can love and be loved by,
A community where discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, colour and opinion never exists,
Such is my ideal community.

A place where I can belong and fit in,
A place I'm wanted and a place I don't get tossed into the bin,
A place full of people whose ideas are for development,
A place where I can be myself without being judged by anybody,
Such is my ideal community.

My ideal community is where there are no wars, no pain, no suffering,
No crime, no hate, no jealousy and no poverty,
One where no one is homeless and everyone is each other's sibling,
One without leaders whose polices are tyrannical,
One without corruption and one filled with love,
One that the people in it respect democracy,
A perfect community;my ideal community.

Does my ideal community really exist?
Does it only exist in my dreams and imaginations?
The answer is unclear,
If I could, I would rebuild and restructure the world to my taste,
To my ideal community, a community without divorce and prejudice,
A community that would bring joy to its citizens only at the thought of it,
I will really feel blessed and fulfilled if such community would ever exist in reality.
