Love

Hey guys, i have been having a good time on Steemit. Indeed love could be crazy. Here is another of my writing; a poem but on the subject of love...

Helpless Prisoner

Even when I try to smuggle out
funds to bail myself from this
prison made of thick walls and
gates made of solid iron,
I still find myself appealing
before the high court, caught
and chained because you've
tracked down every means of
escape, making me helpless
and my efforts futile.

Your name creates every reason
I smile, your presence is an enemy
to my sadness and your absence
steals every bit of my thoughts.
I appreciate the fact that you
advise me to focus and don't
think of you but the truth is that
I am even more distracted without
you because your personality my heart
has registered and your voice is like a
song on repeat in my head .

I wish I was a guy professing my
love to a girl but nevertheless
I would shout it again and again
that you are a jailer that has no
pity for a young prisoner.
