The woman that hurts
A woman that hurts, is a woman in pain,
Her heart once full, now filled with disdain,
The wounds of life, have left their mark,
Her soul left battered, left in the dark.
The hurt she feels, is hard to contain,
Her emotions raw, like an open vein,
She lashes out, with words so sharp,
Her pain so deep, it leaves a mark.
The world can be cruel, to a woman in need,
Her heart once full, now filled with greed,
But through it all, she finds her way,
To rise above, and seize the day.
For a woman that hurts, is a woman of strength,
Her struggles many, her path so tense,
But through it all, she perseveres,
And finds her way, through the tears.
So let us honor, the women who hurt,
And offer our love, and never dessert,
For their pain is real, and their hearts do ache,
And it's our duty, to help them break.
Break free from the chains, that hold them down,
And lift them up, so they can wear their crown,
For a woman that hurts, is a woman of grace,
And it's time to help her, find her rightful place.
