words untamed - an original poem
Words untamed...
Words are never subjugated by a writer
but rather only set free
by fixing them to the paper with a pen
an enigma for sure
from insubstantial brain chatter
to crispy clarity in black and white
the flow of thoughts and memories untamed
rough at first then finished in shiny jet
the mind blinks to clear the imprint
of light's play on the words on paper
both nemesis and saviour
from a place of pain and misery
the complex blend of words leads
to relief and peace of mind
I hope you enjoyed this little poem as much as it relieved me to write it.
I did not post a poem for a while, there were a few reasons for that. The main reason was that I was working on so many things at the same time. I was trying to set up a business but it did not come together, rules and regulations... Also we @poetsunited were working to make our community more visible and effective, often many hours a day and 'till deep in the night. If you are curious about that just visit the brand new @poetsunited blog page or our equally new website poetsunited.org . We have also instituted a new role: "subscriber" which gives the subscribers some real nice perks!
I hope to be able to write more poetry again but there's still a lot of work to do for our community as well, like writing tutorials, community reports and contests. We're soon also restarting the Daily Dose.

Hahaha, very recognaizable, that's why I have a noteblock and a pen next to my bed. To me it happens mostly when I am neither awake or asleep. Thanks for your comment!
