A Poem About My Blog

I started a blog and as an introductory post I wrote a poem:

One day I wanted to be seen
Gain the notoriety and the green
Yes, I’ll admit I was being dramatic
You see, my ambitions really aren’t pragmatic
But how would I accomplish anything like fame?
Not be like everyone else, exactly the same?
After I put to work my mental cogs
I finally decided I’d start a blog
One says to blog one needs a theme
But to me this is impossible, it seems
I don’t need to follow this rule
If anything, this “theme” is just a tool
It would be easier if I wrote about whatever comes to mind
In fact, it’s a great idea! I could even find
The topic I’m the best at using in this site
So I can make that money I dream of at night
Okay, I admit this poem wasn’t sublime
But what can I say? Not even one time
Have I written a blog post, not once before
Nor have I written many poems, but I hope I’ll write more
