My heart cries out to me,
Please would you hear me?
Would you listen to the things I'm so wanting to tell you?
I don't want anything of you, except for you to see me,
Just see me, be with me, listen to me,
I only want your presence,
Your patience, your listening ear,
That's all I'm wanting.
That's all I need from you.
Thank you ever so much
It feels like you're holding me
When you listen to me,
Like you're comforting me
Just by acknowledging me,
I'm harmless really,
All I want is for you to know me
Every moment you spend time
Patiently sitting with me
Is a moment I grow and expand,
I become more and more a part of you,
There's no effort on your behalf,
As already I have told you,
But just that you would sit by me
And let me be a part of you,
A part of you that's important too
A part of you that loves on you
