Like a Mirror (An original Poem)
Like a Mirror (Written May, 2014)
The days spent,
The shadows old,
The things learned,
The stories told.
And even time,
Can’t find its place,
Nor stay even,
With its pace.
The change inside,
In our mind,
In our hearts,
Shall forever bind.
The change to come,
Is greater still,
Like a cat’s mind,
On a windowsill.
The deepest roots,
Of knowledge and truth,
Strengthened or broken,
Into a new youth.
Reflecting on life,
Watching change in yourself,
And reflecting the truth,
Like a mirror.
