Lights are in lightning
Booms are in thunder,
The beauty inside of you, makes me wonder,
Is this why I love you?
It could possible be that warm smile,
Or that cheerful laugh.
Maybe its your eyes, clear as a sea of glass.
No, Its everything about you that makes my heart beat fast.

What has happened? Is it just me?
Or has the fountain of beauty been altered inside of thee?
Yes i use to have love for you
Oh how i adored you
Yet now i dont feel anything in my heart
Could something be different about you, or could it just be me
That have caused these feelings to be thrown far out into the sea

Nothing stays the same, everything changes.
Identities get lost, beautiful hearts get painted,
God gets forgotten, new idols get created.
Nothing lasts forever on earth, whether good or bad,
People laugh and smile, then become broken and sad.
But what hurts more than realizing your friend has died, all you have is memories,
A pain that squeezes your heart, changing the color from bright red to a dark gray like emery.
For the person in front of you, doesn't hold the heart of the one you knew,
Just the face of the friend you knew and loved, and knew and loved you..
