Great rhythm, and a wonderfully mysterious photo to match! I like the repetition of 'cycles' at the middle and end, reinforcing the theme and making the closing lines that much punchier. Ultimately, I think, we do not fear death, but the prospect of dying unfulfilled - every wasted day makes that feel realer and realer. Thanks for such a thoughtful write.
